About Us
Let us introduce ourselves. We are an average family who love to travel and experience real life in other places around the world. We have had the honor of visiting many countries where we’ve met amazing people and heard much about their lives. Through these experiences, we became aware of the lack of medical care, education and basic everyday needs in many of these countries. We also became aware of the vulnerability this leaves many of the people in and how they are preyed upon by people who are out for their own gain. We thought "How can we help?"
So, we began as a family taking trips where we would volunteer our time by helping with education, providing food, clothing and loving and laughing with new friends. Funny how this changed our lives in the process. One day we found ourselves building a bike park in Nepal for a month. We fell in love with Nepal, from its high snowy peaks and hot jungle floors to the amazing people and beautiful culture.
Even after returning home, our hearts kept beating for Nepal. We began to investigate the real needs of the country and the possibilities of living there one day. And that brings us to the heart of Mountain Top Seekers:
- We desire to see lives changed in Nepal through sustainable development projects.
- To see the people of Nepal realize their potential through creating new opportunities within their own country.
- To see places developed that offer a safe and educational environment for the children and youth of Nepal.
- To see all people get the health care they need despite their limitations.
These partners are not only meeting the current needs of the people, but investing in sustainability within the country by providing jobs, training and education. We believe that we will see many new projects that will benefit the work that is already started as well as many new opportunities to create change within the local communities.
